1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember things between pages and visits. We also use similar technologies — local storage, pixels and software development kits — and everything in this notice applies to those too.
2. Our approach
We set strictly necessary cookies without asking, because the site cannot function without them. We set nothing else until you tell us we may. When you first arrive, a banner asks you to choose: you can accept all, reject all, or open Manage preferences and decide category by category. If you decline, the site works normally — you simply lose the parts that depend on the cookies you declined. Closing the banner without choosing is treated as declining everything optional.

4. Advertising pixels and cross-border transfer
Our advertising pixels transmit information to platform operators outside South Africa, including the United States and the European Union. Where you consent to marketing cookies, that transfer takes place under section 72 of POPIA on the basis of the contractual protections in each platform's advertising and data processing terms. If you decline marketing cookies, no pixel loads and no transfer occurs.
5. Changing your mind
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer of every page on this site, which reopens the same panel you saw when you first arrived. Withdrawal is as easy as giving consent and takes effect immediately for future processing. Your stored choice expires after 12 months, after which we will ask you again.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.
